winter is coming

After an extended autumn our beautiful weather has turned. Leaves are scattering in the wind. Skies have turned leaden and gray.

When days are shortened and dusk falls before 5:00 p.m. you know winter is on its way.

We truly have been blessed with a long and great fall season. Last year we only had a couple of weeks between a rainy summer and a sleety slushy winter.

a month away from it all

Saskatoon is a welcome reprieve - weather wise & for the company of my dear childhood friend & her darling family

we've had great fun - playing with the babies at her day care & hanging out after

weekends now that the weather is nice are spent outdoors - by the river, on drives, at picnics & outdoor cafes - lots of farmers markets & Shakespear at the Park too

so far everything is cleaner, more spacious & gentler over here - even the thunder storm we had - ha ha
