zip zap zoom : Kung Hei Fat Choi!

2016 has come fast and furious. Taken by surprise, we are now February and here we are playing catch up.

I am eager and excited to welcome the Yang Fire Monkey - this is my year.

The Chinese Lunar New Year always begins on the second new moon after the winter solstice. Depending on which part of the world you are, for 2016 this coincides with the Aquarius New Moon
which occurs on 8 February 2016 at 6:39 a.m. PST, 9:39 a.m. EST, and 1:39 p.m. GMT.

Imbolc or Candlemas starts on Groundhog Day or what old myths call Persephone - the awakening of Earth's life force as light returns out of winter's depths.

The qi flavor of the coming year: [by Narrye Caldwell]

Key words are: erratic, irrepressible, ingenious, clever, unpredictable, resourceful, adventurous,
selfish, magical, quixotic, amoral.

In other words, keep your wits about you because anything, absolutely anything, can happen.
All manner of apple carts could be turned over in the most surprising ways. This will be a test
of your ability to stay calm and unruffled in the face of relentless and unexpected challenges.

But remember - on the other side of chaos is magic and transformation. Be brave and keep
your sense of humor; never forget that there’s spiritual gold at the end of the tale.

Way before its due date we are already in the greedy grasping grip of this marvelous
mischievous monkey. Watch out world
