ora et labora

What exactly is the electromagnetic spectrum? In case you believe we are such geniuses, humans experience less than one percent of the spectrum. Yet within that narrow range there are awesome glories to behold.

Do we really know best?

From low to high frequency the spectrum ranges are - radio wavesmicrowavesinfraredvisible lightultravioletX-rays, and gamma rays. The electromagnetic waves in each of these bands have different characteristics.

Such as how they are produced, how they interact with matter, and their practical applications. Most are invisible to us - they are beyond human ability to perceive and even deadly for humans to absorb.

a basic introduction into the electromagnetic spectrum

Change Warrior was educated and raised by German Benedictine nuns in St. Scholastica's Academy. She was a consecrated virgin and an Italian Christian hermit. The twin soul and sister of Benedict of Nursia

She taught by example that relationships are at times more important than rules.  Through her, the Benedictine motto, ora et labora teaches us to put love in all that we do.

The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-ExupĂ©ry

It's a valuable education that has served well in this lifetime. We are taught to contribute with compassion and humility. Human beings may have two less chromosomes that the common potato but we were also born from the belly of a star. That is truly awesome and awe inspiring.

We can be like the little prince and aspire to live and be guided by our heart through our life journey.
