we are the ones that we have been waiting for

Choose love. However challenged we are. No matter how challenging. Stand united in this.

Calling on all change warriors and all of humanity!

What better motivation than world leaders like Trump and Duterte who show us beyond the shred of a doubt what exactly we do not want for our selves and for our world?

Even the most lethargic sedentary sloth feels their heart kindled and ignited today as a result of the unbelievable indignities we are being subjected to.

This is not the time to be passive and invisible. Stand up, awake and arise, be counted and make your life count.

So much anger needs much love. So much pain needs much healing.

Healing not to fix what is broken but heal to preserve our higher nature and protect our world.

We each need to look within ourselves to find true inner peace in order for there to be any hope of peace on earth.

These times bring strong emotions. Use them to motivate and inspire. Not to aggravate and complicate.

Live in the light of wisdom and love. Shine and drive off the darkness of ignorance and lack.

destiny, purpose, evolution

Sky writing over NYC, 04 July 214

What cosmic mysteries
inscribed across the heavens
resonate far off
and reverberate within.

In the screen of the mind
which ideas flicker or die
fed by streams -
conscious or not.

As planets go retrograde
and satellites eclipse
what retrospectives
are revealed.

Memorial Day

memories. . . .meanings. . . .memorials. . . .

"Originally known as Decoration Day, Memorial Day was instituted after the Civil War to honor war veterans, and was eventually made into a day of remembrance for all who died in service to their country. Today, the holiday is part of the three-day weekend signaling the beginning of summer." ~ PBS.org

whatever your story or belief this Memorial Day weekend is a good opportunity to take notice and assess

drop the drama and whatever baggage attached to it and approach this with a beginner's mind - fresh, clear and open hearted - to allow greater possibilities to unfold

start a future where your dots connect differently - bringing more "AHA!"s than "oh shit!"s

may our days prove more memorable - now and forevermore

lost & found

"Self is the only prison that can ever bind the soul."
~Henry Van Dyke, The Prison and the Angel

Is all well in our world?  No matter what our circumstances are we well?

Or do we swing schizophrenically on our own self inflicted hangman's noose battling incessantly with our selves?

Drawn and quartered between stuck and lost?  between our compulsive obsessions or the never ending process of finding ourselves?

Or do we dance to and celebrate our innate nature?  Acknowledging balance is indeed the key?  Exploring the parts of us that please us?  Appreciating what our shadow selves teach us?

In our path toward enlightenment our journey is paved each step of the way with the choice we make, the attitude we sustain, the decision concluded.

Who determines which is wise or appropriate?  timely or truly?

Are we encouraged and empowered by the endeavor?  Are we filled with light, love, life?

Is the body harnessed?  the mind disciplined?  the heart engaged?  the spirit ignited?  the soul kindled?

Where then do we let life take us?

a wedding, a funeral & finding love - all over the place

These past weeks have definitely been a roller coaster of emotions played out in the arena of life.

A dear friend was married back home.  While another was buried.

Beloved friends were over looking for their prodigal son.  Glad to report all's well that ended very well.

I flew cross country on a hellacious 12 hour adventure with consequences I will only hear from in 30 days.

All this and more and I am back home - in love and loving my life as it unfolds as it was meant to - with purpose and direction.
