Heather Cox Richardson's Letters from an American are the daily dose that keeps my hope afloat. 

Reading her thoroughly researched historical perspective on our current events anchors me to reality. 

Listening to her steely determination is my constant battle hymn in our Trumpian flailing republic.

These are definitely transformative times we are all hoping we can transition and navigate through. 

Never has it ever been more important to circle together to build better stability for the vast majority.  

Call on and demand our institutions to step up and protect our country, its principles, and its people. 

To uphold a government that works for everybody - of the people, by the people, for the people. 

Being a woman today has been made tougher. 

Scales tip against us as our rights are repressed - while burdened with more responsibilities. 

Why must we be made to answer to these broken baby men - in the dysfunctional grip of their mommy-daddy issues.

We are not their therapy. We will not be their whipping posts. We defy being their sacrificial lambs. 

BAA! These bad bullies are not going to make us cower or grovel. 

Their sins and trespasses are not ours to atone for. 

Their failings and transgressions are not our burden. 

We walk the path of our own making, our own healing - our own choice, always.

We are born to mother our evolution. 

We serve the human project - first and foremost. 

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of our Lord, the truth keeps marching on!
