If you’ve already broken your New Year’s resolution, don’t despair. You don’t need a holiday to change your life.
It’s the first week of the new year. Let’s be in the moment. How many of us resolved to be more present in 2023? How many of us have broken that resolution?
Depending on which gloomy study you read, somewhere between everyone and everyone will have broken their New Year’s resolutions by February 14. How can we make this year different?
The Problem with Jon Stewart - "The Fumes of an Empire"
Speaking of making a difference. . . .give a listen to Jon Stewart on The Problem as he brings to light the lies and cover ups in the politics and governance on issues that impact us all.
Jon Stewart is joined by British journalist Gabriel Gatehouse to run down what’s happening in the UK and what his reporting on QAnon and election conspiracy theories.
What was even scarier was the quiet level headed conversation about QAnon and their two camps - one that believed the election was stolen and the other that believe the election was stolen by a cabal of satanic pedophiles. Seriously? Yes, really!
Resolve to always be resolving. That sounds terrible, but it’s actually sort of liberating. January might be a terrible time to begin eradicating our bad habits - though with this lot poisoning the well it's never too soon to wipe them clear off our slates at every single election.
