Caitlin Jenner announcing her run for governor of California is just the kind of white supremacist entitlement that gets too many of us riled up all too easily. Just because she can does not mean it is advisable.
Why? Now that their reality show is over, this is what she wants? Does anyone really want any Jenner or Kardashian in office? Hell no! They can ran amok in their own self-publicized lives - thank you. Don't be wasting any of our hard earned tax payer money on their crazy scheme - please.
not a pretty picture |
Caitlyn Marie Jenner (born William Bruce Jenner, October 28, 1949) is an American socialite, transgender rights activist, television personality, and retired Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete.
In her own words - let us witness her crucify herself.
"I'm in!" Jenner tweeted on Friday. What training or background do you have? You believe because Arnie did it, so can you? Do not forget he had Maria Shriver for a wife and the whole Kennedy family political machine. Until he was dumb enough to blow it all that is.
"California is worth fighting for." Sure it is. Firstly, the US just stole it outright from Mexico and the native tribes. Annexing it to the rest of North America as the 31st state of the union in 1850. What fight is Caitlin referring to - the gold rush? the civil war? the Spanish-American war?
"California has been my home for nearly 50 years," Jenner continued in a statement on her campaign website. In those fifty years what has she achieved as a resident? Medals won as an Olympic decathlete? A highly publicized sex change in her old age? Hysterical hyper reality show with the Kardashians?
phasing out - from Bruce to Caitlin
"I came here because I knew that anyone, regardless of their background or station in life, could turn their dreams into reality." The history of California since the 1900s had sold the pioneering west to the highest bidder for its rich resources - agricultural, mineral, residential.
The films and stars of Hollywood helped make the state the a center of worldwide attention. California became an American cultural phenomenon - the idea of the California Dream as part of the larger American Dream.
"But for the past decade, we have seen the glimmer of the Golden State reduced by one-party rule that places politics over progress and special interests over people." Do we really believe this self centered patriarch turned matriarch of a self obsessed narcissistic clan will be California's savior?
Hell no! Caitlin Jenner is the proverbial poster joke for all that's wrong in that world right now.
