It was so with Marcos. It is so with Duterte.

So it is with Trump.

By now most of us have heard the farewell speeches of President Obama - filled with honor and grace and inspiring us all.

We have also heard the first ever press conference of Donald Trump since the elections and we all got the gist of what life will be like under him.

As Forbes Magazine prefaces in their article, "What The Trump Era Will Feel Like":  

Kali Yuga & our own demons

Kali Yuga is associated with the demon Kali, not to be confused with the goddess Kālī.

The Kali of Kali Yuga signifies strife, discord, quarrel or contention inherent with this age of vice and darkness.

As humans have learned to extend our life spans and discovered ways to ease and comfort our selves, many have turned away from their belief in the God of their heart and the wisdom of age old traditions, banking instead on their discoveries and creations.

As we move through the ages and evolve in intellectual capability, life span, emotional and physical strength, we are descending into a gradual decline of dharma, wisdom, and knowledge.

My personal interpretation of dharma is the practice of Universal Truth with kindness and compassion.
