fossil hunter & self taught paleontologist | Mary Anning

As March ends and Women's History Month draws to a close, we celebrate the life and contribution of yet another woman of substance - Mary Anning

This woman was arguably the greatest fossil hunter of them all - Anning’s discoveries ended up in museums, including an ichthyosaur pictured above in the Natural History Museum in London. Her findings contributed to changes in scientific thinking about prehistoric life and the history of the Earth.

women betrayed. . . .again

It's Women's History Month folks! What's with all the hate against Asian women? Is humanity devolving instead of evolving?

When will you value us?

So much for all our years of trials and tribulations, fight and flight. How tragic to have to accept that we really have not come all that far.

The divide is deep and the gap is wide when it comes to gender. Discussion and conversation only manage to highlight differences rather than contribution - much less collaboration.

What is the world so afraid of? Why are we to quick to judge and condemn?

Yet another white trash has lost it in a killing spree that led to the brutal death of six women who were at the wrong place with this whack job lose on a killing spree.

The jury is still out as to [1] was this a hate crime? [2] was the pathetic loser of a killer to blame?

Oh good God! Really? What is wrong with you people? ! ?

It's no wonder we are dying in droves to this day.

This disgusting behavior ends when we all unite to shut it down.

This latest rampage is unacceptable.

Maha Shivaratri 2021

Blessed Maha Shivaratri to all! This sacred day celebrates the convergence of Shiva and Shakti — the masculine and feminine energies which balance the world. Unlike other Indian festivals, which are about fervour, Maha Shivratri is a more solemn affair, marked with internal reflection and introspection.

Shiva Nataraja

This year, Maha Shivratri is celebrated on March 11, Thursday. The chaturdashi tithi begins at 02.39 pm on March 11, and ends 03.02 pm on March 12. Fast if you can, offer ceremony and chants. Sing Lord Shiva's name all day and night long.

red flags

With busyness a wide-spread epidemic in our world, making time and putting value on dreaming is a conscious rebellious act. There isn’t much in Western-influenced culture that prioritizes dreamwork and dream states.

Carl Gustav Jung’s Liber Novus

Dreams are generally seen as mere flotsam and jetsam of our brain synapses. Especially in westernized culture, where we grow up surrounded by many levels of invalidation that denigrate and devalue dreams.
